Hugh Acland (politician)
Sir Hugh John "Jack" Dyke Acland, KBE JP (17 January 1904 – 26 January 1981) was a New Zealand politician of the National Party.
His father was the Sir Hugh Thomas Dyke Acland, CMG, CBE, (1874–1956), was a prominent surgeon in New Zealand.
He represented the Canterbury electorate of Temuka from 1942 to 1946, when he was defeated (for the Timaru electorate).
